STATEMENTS OF FAITH
The Scripture The Holy Bible was written by men inspired by the Holy Spirit. All scripture is God-breathed and has truth as its matter, without any error. It is the record of God’s revelation of Himself to man and His will of salvation for men. (2 Tim 3:15-17, Heb. 4:12-13, 2 Peter 1:19-21, 1 Thes. 2:13)
The Godhead The one and only living God is the infinitely perfect and holy creator, redeemer, and sovereign ruler of all and manifest Himself in three persons (1 John 5:7, Matt. 3:13-17, Matt.28: 19 –20, 1 Tim 3:16):
God the Father – He is the supreme personal spirit; perfect in all his attributes; who is the source, support, and end of the universe. The transcendent manifestation of God who reigns over the universe. (Gen 1:1, Ex. 3:14, John 1:1, John 4:24)
God the Son – He is the Word made flesh. The Son of God who is God that came down and took on flesh. His death on the cross redeemed man from sin and resurrection from the death gives believers eternal life. (John 1:1-4, John 1:14, Col 1:13 –22)
God the Holy Spirit – God in us. He is the Spirit of God that convicts sin, exalts Christ, calls men to the Savior, and effects regeneration. He cultivates Christian character, comforts believers, and appropriates spiritual gifts by which the believers edifies the church and builds the kingdom of God. (John 14:16, John 15:26, John 16:7-15, Acts 1:8, Eph. 1:13, Eph. 4;4)
The Fall of Man Man was created by God and made in His own image. When Adam sinned by his own free choice, sin entered the world and came upon all men, death came to all men through sin. All men are born sinners. No one is righteous (just, truthful, and upright before God). All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. (Gen 1:26-30, Gen2;5-7, Psalm 1, Rom. 3:10-18, Rom. 3:23, Rom. 5:6, Rom. 5:12)
Salvation The redemption of mankind offered to all who accept Jesus Christ, through faith, as their personal Lord and Savior. Jesus Christ is the Son of God that obtained eternal redemption for those that believe in Him through His death, burial, and resurrection. (John 3:16, Acts 4:12, Rom 10:9-10, Rom 10:13, Eph.2:8-9)
New Birth Regeneration, justification, or new birth is brought about by the grace of God when believers are brought to repentance and confess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and experience a change of heart brought by the Holy Spirit. (Rom 10:9-10, 2 Cor. 7:10, 1 John 5:12, 2 Cor 5:17-20)
Sanctification The progressive work through the Holy Spirit by which the believers are set apart for God’s divine purpose which continue through the believers life. (Rom. 15:16, 1 Pet. 1:2, 1 Pet. 2:9, Heb. 12:14, 2 Cor. 3:18, Phil. 3:14)
Glorification The consummation of salvation is the final state of redemption for the believer, brought about when Jesus Christ returns for His believers and we are made to be like Him. (Rom 8:23, Rom 8:29-30, Eph. 1:14, Heb. 9:28)
Baptism in the Holy Spirit Every believer is baptized by the Spirit into Christ the moment he is regenerated and receives power. He is also in-dwelt by the Holy Spirit at the moment of regeneration and sealed for all eternity. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift from God that was promised by our Lord Jesus Christ. ( Matt. 3:11, John 14:16-17, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:3-4, Acts 19:1-7)
The Church The called out baptized believers, who through faith, believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and observe His ordinances and teachings, of which Jesus Christ is the head. Who‘s mission is to go throughout the world spreading the gospel message. The eternal purpose of God in Christ is to be declared “by” or “through the church”.( Matt. 16:13-18, Matt. 18:15-20, Matt. 28:19-20, Acts 2:41-42, Eph. 3:10-11)

The Lord’s Supper A symbolic act of obedience where members of the church through the taking of bread and fruit of the vine to remember the death and anticipate the second coming of Jesus Christ. This is a command by Jesus Christ to believers and the elements portray what Jesus did for man’s salvation. (Matt. 26:26-30, Mark 14:2-26, Acts 2:41-42, 1 Cor 11:23-29)
The Kingdom The Kingdom of God includes His sovereignty over the universe and all those that believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God. Believer’s ought to pray and labor that the will of God be done on earth and that Jesus Christ return. (Matt. 3:2, Matt.13:125, Mark 1: 14-19, Mark 9:1, Luke 8:1, Luke 9:2, Luke 12:31-32, Rom 5:17, 1Cor. 15:24-28, Rev. 1:6, Rev. 5:10)

Marriage The origination of marriage is a holy institution established by God at the creation of mankind. We believe that the term “marriage” has only one meaning, and that is marriage sanctioned by God, which joins one man and one woman in a single, exclusive, covenantal union, as delineated in Scripture. We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to only occur between a man and a woman who are married to each other. We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman. (Genesis 1:27-28; Genesis 2:18-25; Exodus 20:14; Matthew 19:3-12; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9-20; Ephesians 5:22-33; Hebrews 13:4)
Life We believe life originates from God. We believe that life begins at conception. Because life originates from God we believe every stage of life, conception to death, is sacred. (Genesis 1:27; Job 31:15, Psalm 139:13-16; Jeremiah 1:5-6)
